Ask answers questions about your workspace and proposes changes for you. Open it from the top bar, or press ⌘J. Ask never changes anything on its own. It shows a card, and nothing happens until you press the card's button. ## What Ask can do Ask reads your people, campaigns, results, Radar, reports and these help pages. It knows which page you're on, so you can ask "why did this campaign stop?" without naming it. It answers in the language of your last message. Under each answer, **What I looked at** lists what it read. ## How changes work Changes come as cards. There are two kinds. ### Safe changes: Apply and Undo These are easy to reverse. Press **Apply** to make the change or **Not now** to drop it. Some cards name the action, such as **Create draft** or **Create list**. | Change | What Undo does | | - | - | | Change a campaign's wait time | Puts the wait back, if nobody has changed it since | | Change a campaign's writing settings | Puts the settings back, if nobody has changed them since. Messages already written stay as they are. | | Create a draft campaign | Deletes the draft, as long as you haven't edited or launched it | | Pause a campaign | Doesn't resume by itself. Resuming sends messages again, so you get a **Confirm** card first. | | Create a list | Deletes the list, as long as no campaign uses it and nobody else was added | | Add people to a list | Takes out exactly the people Ask added, if they are still in the list | | Mark people **Not a fit** | Recovers them. Messages that were stopped stay stopped. | | Set a stage | Puts the stage back, if nobody has changed it since | | Add a note | Deletes the note, as long as nobody edited it | | Add a task | Deletes the task, as long as it isn't done or edited | | Change your Radar brief, pause Radar | Puts it back. A paused Radar searches again on the next scheduled weekday and sends nothing. | | Change your notification settings | Puts them back, if you haven't changed them again | | Tighten a safety setting | Puts it back | ### Risky changes: Confirm These send messages, affect many people or can't be reversed. The first press shows "Check this before you confirm" with the final numbers. Anything already sent stays sent. | | Add people to a campaign | No | | Approve messages | No | | Rewrite drafts | No | | Approve messages automatically | **Undo** turns it back off | | Delete a campaign | No | | Send a reply from Inbox | No | | Loosen a safety setting | **Undo** puts it back. Owners and admins only. | | Remove someone from do-not-contact | **Undo** puts them back | | Delete a list | No | | Mark people **Good fit** | **Undo** clears the mark. People who already joined a campaign stay in it. | You also tick "I understand and want to go ahead" when more than 50 people are affected. For automatic approval, the tick reads "I understand messages will go out without my review". A confirmation lasts 15 minutes and works once. If the facts change while you look, Ask shows the new numbers instead of acting on the old ones. ## What Ask won't do Ask gives you an "Open here" link for these instead: * billing and plans, * inviting teammates and changing roles, * API keys, * connecting or disconnecting LinkedIn or email, * deleting a workspace. Ask won't send to anyone on your [do-not-contact list](https://docs.b2bsignals.ai/people/do-not-contact.md). It works only inside your current workspace, and it declines questions unrelated to B2B Signals. ## Who can do what * **Applying a card:** only the person who asked can apply, confirm or dismiss it. * **Undoing a change:** the person who asked, or an owner or admin. Notification settings can only be undone by the person who asked. * **Owners and admins only:** Radar changes and loosening safety settings. ## See what Ask changed Open the menu in Ask and press **What Ask changed**. It lists changes across the workspace, with a filter for **Everyone** or **Me**. Details about people are visible only to the person who asked. Your threads are private to you. Other people's suggestions that nobody applied stay private too. **Start a new thread here** starts fresh on the page you're on. Messages older than 180 days are deleted. ## Limits | Limit | Amount | | - | - | | Messages per workspace, per UTC day, trial | 30 | | Messages per workspace, per UTC day, Free | 10 | | Messages per workspace, per UTC day, paid plans | 200 | | Messages per person | 20 in any 10 minutes | When you reach a limit, Ask tells you when it opens again. On Free, Ask answers questions but offers no change cards. Undo still works for earlier changes.
